Victory Heights is genuinely friendly as a community. When I was walking around, I saw people out jogging, some neighbors chatting at the corner, even a few kids on bikes heading to the park. Everything feels maintained but not in that too perfect way, more like someone cares and wants everyone to feel comfortable. The Els Golf Club is around the corner and sometimes you can catch the sound of someone teeing off in the distance. There are pocket parks through the community and some days just sitting with a book under the trees is all you really need. Shops and simple cafes are not far so weekend breakfasts out are easy. The pool is close too, which is perfect on those hot afternoons when you just need to cool off or get the kids outside.
