Brand New Ground Unit Chiller Free and with Beach Access

Sometimes a place feels like it is already slowing your heart rate down before you even cross the door. This one bedroom ground floor apartment at Surf in Creek Beach, right in the heart of Dubai Creek Harbour, kind of does that. I wandered in on a weekday morning and could already hear the sound from the waterfront mixed with distant city life. There is something about being literally steps from the sand that you just cannot fake. 

The apartment itself is totally brand new so no need to worry about wear and tear. Everything from the walls to the kitchen counters feels untouched and ready for you to make your mark. Honestly I was surprised how much space there is for a one bedroom unit in Dubai. You are looking at about 875 square feet that actually feels open and light. The living room and dining area do not have that boxed in vibe that some places do. The windows stretch wide and I stood there watching stray clouds move by, with that whole Dubai skyline catching the sun. You can just imagine sipping coffee every morning looking out at that view or even reading a book on your private balcony when the weather is just right. 

Something I really like here is the kitchen. Sometimes in smaller apartments the kitchen feels like a forgotten corner but here it is sleek and genuinely practical. There is enough counter space to actually prep a meal, not just reheat something. Plus you get all new fittings and they have yet to see a single scratch. Evenings could be about lazy dinners or getting takeout from one of the dozens of restaurants at Creek Harbour, all within a few minutes walk. The vibe in this area is young but also super family friendly. I regularly spot people jogging along the shaded tracks or families heading to the little shops. Kids pass by on their bikes in the evening so the energy never really dips.

The bedroom is tucked away for a little privacy which I always appreciate at the end of the day. The built in wardrobes are deep enough for all the stuff you do not want on display. Your en suite bathroom is shiny and new with that fresh hotel feel but less formal. The best bit is that you just move in and start living. The apartment comes chiller free too so that is the summer bill sorted out. And yes you really do have private beach access right outside. Not many places in Dubai give you the sand just a few steps from your own front door.

Life at Surf means chilled mornings in the communal pool or maybe a quick session at the gym that is always tidy and never crowded when I have seen it. Security is always around so you feel safe even coming home late. The on site retail shops make grabbing a snack or even just a coffee unbelievably convenient. I even popped into the medical center out of curiosity and it is spotless. 

Getting in and out of Creek Beach is easy. You get straight access to the main roads if you want to pop to Downtown or DIFC for work and Uber drivers always seem to find the front gate without an issue. Sometimes it is easy to forget you are in such a central spot when everything feels calm. 
 

There are always a few birds in the afternoon outside. Sometimes the light comes in just right in the living room and you can picture yourself winding down after a long day with the city stretched in the distance and the beach at your feet.

Not every apartment has this much natural light and that easy mix of city and sea life.
