Temperatures in Dubai are already soaring and we can expect a scorcher of a summer ahead of us. Fortunately, the city is home to several fantastic beach clubs that are perfect for cooling off and for enjoying a staycation day. Here are some of the best destinations for your next beach trip.

Bulgari Yacht Club

Part of the stunning Bulgari Resort & Residences, the yacht club is located next to a 46-berth harbour and has an ambiance inspired by the charming Mediterranean coastline. You will feel as if you’re sunning yourself on the Italian Riviera as you lounge by the gorgeous pool or head into the club’s signature Italian restaurant to enjoy a delectable seafood-focused meal. There is also a specially branded kid’s club, known as the Little Gems Club, ensuring a great experience for the whole family.

Cove Beach

Bluewaters Island, located just off the JBR coastline, has become an immensely popular destination for beachgoers thanks to the Caesars Bluewaters Resort and its signature beach club - Cove Beach. With the two.0 by Cove Beach restaurant, the unique Rosé Lounge, three pools and a large stretch of beachfront, it is the place to be whether you want to enjoy a relaxed afternoon or a party-packed evening that lasts well into the night.

Drift Beach

The award-winning beach club of The One & Only Royal Mirage, Drift offers a fantastic beachfront experience where you can rent sun beds, or even a private cabana that is like a small hotel suite in itself. The private cabanas at Drift have their own shower facilities, private lounges, mini bar, flatscreen TVs and sound systems. You also have a cabana waiter to handle all of your F&B needs, or you can head over to the Drift restaurant for a bite.

White Beach

The world-famous White Beach at Atlantis needs no introduction at this point - it has adorned the Instagram feed of many a global celebrity. The beach club features a gorgeous infinity pool, a lounge terrace, private sunbeds, shaded pergolas, and more to create a Mediterranean-inspired coastal experience. You also have the White restaurant, which serves up everything from light bites to brunches to main dishes that you can enjoy with views of the Palm and the stunning city skyline.

Nikki Beach

Miami’s ultra-popular beach club landed on the shores of Dubai a couple of years ago, and it has since become a top Dubai destination as well. The club is located on the island of Pearl Jumeirah, the perfect complement to its tribal-inspired decor that infuses a brilliant white palette with wooden decorative elements. You can relax on lavish sun beds or cabana-style day beds while enjoying cocktails delivered right to you or a selection of mouth watering dishes. In a short time, Nikki Beach has become one of the city’s entertainment capitals, and is the ideal choice for summer.

Bla Bla

The beach club with the unusual name is also one of the largest clubs of its kind in Dubai and one of the newest, opening just at the end of 2020. Located in JBR, just opposite Bluewaters Island, Bla Bla provides you quite an eyeful when it comes to views - it directly looks over the spectacular Ain Dubai wheel and the surrounding stretch of Araban Gulf. The club itself features more than 20 bars, three restaurants, an immense poolside deck and live entertainment for a complete beachfront party atmosphere.

Azure Beach

Another JBR entry, Azure Beach is part of the Rixos Premium Hotel that sits right at the centre of the neighbourhood and is older than the nearby Bla Bla by just about 2 months. Aside from the usual beach club trappings (sun deck, massive pool, poolside bar, Jacuzzi), Azure Beach offers a limited selection of luxury cabanas with their own private pools and comfortable sun beds. It’s a great way to enjoy a more intimate day at the beach, along with a dedicated server to cater to your dining needs.

WET Deck

WET Deck offers you a contemporary beachfront experience that is beyond incredible. The club is part of the stunning W Hotel on Palm Jumeirah, home to award-winning master chef Massimo Bottura’s restaurant Torno Subito, and is a beach lover’s paradise. Sloping down slightly from the hotel, WET features multiple pools set in a curved pattern leading out to the beach. There are private poolside gazebos, private cabanas, a lounge deck, a private beach and crisply landscaped walkways, all surrounded by the most amazing views (especially at sunset).
