5 Places to Spend New Year’s Day in Dubai
Everyone has a plan for New Year’s Eve, whether it’s a quiet night in with the family or one of the big bashes at the beach or Downtown. What happens after the celebrations have wound down, though? LuxuryProperty.com has a few ideas for where to start off the New Year.
1. Nikki Beach
For those of you still in celebration more, Nikki Beach will be hosting a party brunch from 2 pm to 5 pm on New Year’s Day. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic packages are available, along with a range of signature dishes.

The Garden Brunch is a favorite at the Dubai Opera’s own eatery, running from 12 pm to 4 pm every Friday. A special edition of the brunch will be featured on New Year’s Day, with live music, fresh oysters and a sumptuous spread.
3. The Address Boulevard

Between 1 pm and 4 pm, The Restaurant at The Address Boulevard will be serving a special New Year’s set menu with three courses of festive dishes, plus a dessert counter and live music.

One of Dubai’s most popular festive hangouts will be continuing on its grand tradition of providing seasonal family fun with a family BBQ. Bouncy castles, face painting stations and a petting zoo will keep the kids busy for hours, while the adults have a wide variety of grilled delights to enjoy.
5. Bab Al Shams

If you don’t want to spend the first day of the New Year in Dubai’s usual corners, then head out to the Bab Al Shams Resort on Al Qudra Road. Their signature restaurant, Al Forsan, will be offering a special international buffet on New Year’s Day, in addition to several family-oriented activities.
